Nick's WRX buildup
Read along as I modify my 2002 WRX into a daily driver that can handle the abuse from going to the track.
My WRX is currently lightly modified. I bought it used and it already had the following done to it:
Manual boost controller
AutoMeter Phantom boost gauge
Greddy turbo timer
M2 performance lowering springs (1.2")
Tinted windows
I then added some Royal Gunmetallic Rota Subzeros wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires to improve the grip (and it did drastically). It also made the car looks worlds better.
I decided to let air flow more than the stock exhaust and replaced it with a Helix cat-back exhaust.
I also recently decided that my brakes just weren't up to par anymore. I replaced the setup with Racing Brake slotted rotors, Axxis Ultimate brake pads, StopTech Stainless Steel brake lines (front and rear), and finished it up with ATE SuperBlue brake fluid.
